Abstract

The present in vitrostudy was designed to explore antiperoxidative potential of morin on paclitaxel-induced lipid peroxidation. Goat liver tissue homogenate was used as source of lipid. Estimation of malondialdehyde and 4-hydroxy-2-nonenalin liver tissue homogenate was used as model markers for paclitaxel-induced lipid peroxidation. The results suggest that paclitaxel could induce lipid peroxidation to a significant extent and it was also found that morin has the ability to suppress the paclitaxel-induced toxicity.
