Abstract

Background: The quality-of-life following hemorrhoids treated with rubber band ligation or cryotherapy is not well 
documented in the literature and requires more research.  
Aim: The purpose of this study was to use the SF-36 (short form-36) survey questionnaire to analyze and evaluate the 
quality of life in adult Indian individuals with simple Grade I or II hemorrhoids following treatment with either 
cryosurgery or rubber band ligation.
