Background: Patients living with HIV/AIDS have always had to deal with stress. However, there is a dearth of information
in the literature currently available regarding stress and coping mechanisms in Indian HIV/AIDS patients.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate and evaluate the stigmatizing patterns among persons living with HIV/AIDS
(PLHWA) and to evaluate coping mechanisms used to evaluate their quality of life (QOL)
