Abstract

There has been an increase in the benefits pertaining to salary and money but they
are not the required methods for resolving shortages of nurses in hospitals. Motivation among
nursing staff in organizations should be brought about by factors that are non-monetary.
Leadership has been known as a crucial component focusing on employee development, among
various non-monetary factors. Among many important leadership styles, transformational
leadership has come up as an impactful one, leading to enhanced levels of commitment among
employees.
