Abstract

Background: A higher risk of peripheral vascular illnesses, congestive heart failure, end-stage renal diseases, myocardial
infarction, and stroke is caused by hypertension, one of the main risk factors. One of the first signs of kidney damage in
hypertensive individuals is microalbuminuria.
Aim: to determine whether albuminuria was present in hypertensive Indian participants.
Methods: Two groups of 200 hypertensive subjects—100 cases and 100 controls—were evaluated for the research. Blood
pressure readings and a spot urine sample were taken from each of the included patients in order to determine whether
microalbumin was present.
