Abstract

Apparent molar volumes (ϕv) and viscosity B-coefficients for imidacloprid in Dimethylformamide (DMF) and Dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) was evaluated from density (ρ ) and viscosity (η) at 298.15 to 313.15 K using a bicapillary pycnometer and Ubbelohde viscometer respectively. The density data were analyzed in terms of limiting apparent molar volume (ϕ o) and experimental slopes (Sv) obtained from Masson equation. The viscosity data were analyzed in term of A and B coefficient obtained from Jone-Dole equation. The evaluated parameters were interpreted in terms of different interactions exists therein.
