Abnormal Uterine Bleeding

Abstract

Abnormal uterine bleeding is a common gynecological complaint among women of reproductive
age and significantly affects quality of life. Thyroid hormones play a crucial role in regulating
menstrual function, and thyroid dysfunction is a potentially reversible cause of menstrual
irregularities. Identifying thyroid abnormalities in women with AUB may help in early diagnosis,
targeted treatment, and avoidance of unnecessary surgical interventions.
