MODIFIED LATERAL THORACOLUMBAR INTERFACIAL PLANE BLOCK WITH GA AND CLASSICAL MEDIAL INTERFACIAL PLANE BLOCK

Abstract

Background: Patients having lumbar disc operations frequently undergo thoracolumbar interfacial plane block. Over
time, it has undergone modifications. However, there is a dearth of information about its modification in the Indian setting.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of modified lateral thoracolumbar interfacial plane block with
just GA and traditional medial interfacial plane block in patients having lumbar disc operations.
