Abstract

Three-dimensional (3D) printing is an additive manufacturing method, where successive layers of material are deposited or solidified to form a 3D 
structure. It uses computer aided drafting technology and programming to produce 3D object by layering material on to a substrate. A variety of 3D 
printing technologies have been developed to fabricate novel solid dosage forms, which are among the most renowned and distinct products today. The 
present review focussed on briefing various techniques, applications of 3D printing in pharmaceutical technology.
