Abstract

Background: The five soft tissue layers that cover the skull make the human scalp unique among human skin. Due to their 
reduced visibility, scalp lesions are typically overlooked at first, which undermines confidence when combined with alopecia. 
These lesions are typically caused by seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis. There is a dearth of literature currently available that 
addresses this problem.  
Aim: Using scalp biopsies, the current study sought to determine the relationship between histopathological and clinical 
diagnosis in patients with scalp lesions at an Indian medical facility
