Abstract

Background: Heart failure has been associated with anemia and other pregnancy-related disorders such as eclampsia and
preeclampsia. However, there is a dearth of information in the literature about the risk factors and outcomes of heart
failure in women.
Aim: The goal of the current study was to evaluate the risk variables and maternal outcomes in pregnant women with
heart failure.
Methods: 140 participants who came to the Institute within the specified study period were evaluated in this study.
Framingham's criteria were used to diagnose heart failure in all subjects. The NYHA (New York Heart Association) class
was used to grade each participant, and statistical analysis was performed on the collected data.
