Abstract

Background: Oligohydramnios at term is associated with increased fetal surveillance, induction of labor, operative
delivery, and adverse perinatal outcome.
Aim: To evaluate maternal and perinatal outcomes among term pregnant women diagnosed with oligohydramnios.
Materials and Methods: A prospective observational study was conducted in 2020 among 137 term pregnant women
diagnosed with oligohydramnios. Women with singleton pregnancy beyond 37 weeks with amniotic fluid index ≤5 cm
were included. Maternal demographic profile, intrapartum findings, mode of delivery, birth weight, APGAR score, NICU
admission, and perinatal outcome were assessed. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 22.
