Abstract

Migraine is a prevalent and debilitating neurovascular disorder requiring rapid therapeutic
intervention. Conventional oral antimigraine therapies often exhibit delayed onset of action due to
gastrointestinal limitations and extensive hepatic first-pass metabolism, leading to reduced
bioavailability and compromised efficacy. Sublingual drug delivery offers a promising alternative by
enabling rapid absorption and bypassing first-pass metabolism.
