Background: Acute ischemic stroke is a major cause of death and morbidity worldwide, with developing countries like
India having the highest frequency. Studying the two types of stroke—anterior circulation infarction (ACI) and posterior
circulation infarction (PCS)—is crucial since they both have unique radiological and clinical characteristics.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the radiological connection between ischemic strokes of the anterior and
posterior circulations.
