Clipless laparoscopic cholecystectomy (CLLC),Abstract
Background: When an ultrasonic dissector is used for cholecystectomy, there is less chance of charring, smoke, and
thermal tissue injury. Additionally, it requires no power and is less complicated than cautery. Any advancement in this
area might be advantageous.
Aim: The objective is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of utilizing an ultrasonic scalpel as a working instrument
for gallbladder dissection and diversion/closure of the cystic artery and duct in laparoscopic cholecystectomy as opposed
to traditional cholecystectomy using electrocautery and clips.
