Background: One of the most prevalent types of acute tonsillitis observed in pediatric patients is membrane-associated
tonsillitis. Although membranous tonsillitis can be caused by a variety of related microorganisms, bacterial pathogens are
typically identified as the causative agent and a penicillin-group of antibiotics is provided.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the cause, prevalence, and prescribing patterns of upper respiratory tract
infections and membranous tonsillitis in participants. The effectiveness of laboratory, clinical, and epidemiological
measures as well as their function in directing management were evaluated in the study
