Abstract

Background: Acute ischemic stroke, or AIS, is a condition that has a high death rate everywhere, including in India, and
poses a serious burden on society. Nonetheless, there is ongoing debate over the relationship between AIS and SUA
(serum uric acid).
Aim: The purpose of this study was to measure blood uric acid levels in participants who had experienced an acute
ischemic stroke for the first time and to correlate these levels with the severity of the acute ischemic stroke.
